Point at your TV. Click. Win. Viewers play along with TV broadcasts by pointing at the TV, capturing “TV cards” from their TV screen, and connecting with others to play.

TvTak unique gamification toolset generates second-screen interaction with broadcast by applying game mechanics to live TV viewing and allowing users to engage in fun and rewarding activities while watching the shows. It offers producers and sponsors a great way to interact with their audiences, to reinforce branding, and to build “buzz,” goodwill and social communities.

Demos will take place on the TvTak booth in the Israel Pavilion.

 

Get a clue of the new mystery flavours of Walkers' crisps

 

Walkers have launched three new mystery flavours inspired by ingredients and recipes loved by the Great British public. The campaign is designed to get the whole nation guessing the flavours names and is supported by heavy weight TV, digital and below the line activity. If consumers guess correctly they could be in with a chance of winning £50,000.

TvTak offers a new way for consumers to engage with the campaign when they see the  “What’s That Flavour?” commercial on TV or Youtube, to get an exclusive clue. From the clue consumers can click through to the website or facebook app to sign up and place their guess viewers enter in the contest in one-click and guess the mystery flavour.

TV Viewing Gamification @ MWC – Barcelona

TvTak will showcase for the first time at Mobile World Congress – Barcelona - 28-29 February 2012 - a unique gamification toolset for second-screen interaction with broadcast television. Demos will take place on Tuesday 28 and Wednesday 29 of February 2012 in the booth ApplicationBuzz on Hall 2, Stand 2C75.

Gamification, a new way of consuming TV - TvTak is the first Automatic Video Recognition platform that allows a viewer to point a smartphone or tablet at the television and instantly identify what TV program or commercial is playing. Viewers gets instant gratification, with a customized “TV Card” with the name of the show as well as other branded opportunities.  The viewer can collect cards, post their collections into a feed of a community of users watching the same channel, and debate with peers watching the same shows.
